Professor Shuji Nakamura gives the Leigh Ann Conn Prize for Renewable Energy Public Lecture

Scientific Lecture by Dr. Shuji Nakamura, the UofL 2019 Leigh Ann Conn Prize for Renewable Energy Laureate. A world-leading pioneer in sustainable energy technology, Nakamura is recognized for his solid-state light-emitting diodes (LED) technology. His LEDs have 10 times the efficiency of incandescent lighting, twice the efficiency of fluorescents and last 30 to 40 years.
